The Sop Speedy is a RIB speedboat and travels at speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour along the Texel coast, to and from the seals at Noorderhaaks. This unique experience is for young and old, but certainly not for everyone.

At full speed (up to 75 km/h), we sail to the uninhabited seal island “De Razende Bol”, also known as Noorderhaaks. As this island is dry at both low and high tide, we guarantee a 100% seal sighting during this adventurous seal tour!
GET CLOSE TO THE SEALS
Because the Sop Speedy can navigate well through shallow water, we can slowly approach the seals. The skipper takes the time to tell you about the different seals and their habitats. Then we set course for the largest naval base in the Netherlands, Den Helder, where you can admire the Dutch Navy fleet. Make sure to bring your camera or phone during this one-hour tour for the most beautiful photos and videos.

The *daily departures of the Sop Speedy are:
11:30 am – 12:30 pm
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

*Departure only with sufficient passengers and favorable weather conditions.
The boat accommodates up to 12 people.
Children from 6 years old are allowed to join.
With our other seal tours, younger children are also allowed to come along.
No, dogs are not allowed on the Sop Speedy.
Dogs are allowed on our other seal tours.
The ship departs when there are at least 8 people on board.
Yes, this is possible if we also deploy our other boat.

Originally, we wanted to do the seal tour. When we got on the boat, we spontaneously changed our minds and went on the speedboat tour. It was really amazing and we were also able to see the seals.
