Every day “Het Sop” tours from the harbor of Oudeschild to the seals. Please note: The Sop only departs with sufficient passengers and favorable weather conditions.
Dogs are allowed on board for free if reasonable. This means that if your dog cooperates to get on board and behaves towards other passengers and / or dogs. We can help you lift your dog on board, provided it is not heavier than 20 KG
‘The Sop’ is inspected annually, meets all safety requirements and is one of the safest ships in Oudeschild. There is a life jacket for every passenger and two life rafts are available. These offer space for twelve people per raft.
Unfortunately, the weather on Texel isn’t always nice, but luckily there are plenty of fun activities and interesting sights to explore. Oudeschild is also a beautiful village worth discovering.

Fulfills all promises! Very friendly crew and a nice spacious boat! The skipper takes all the time to get as close as possible to the seals and gives everyone the opportunity to take photos and ask questions.
